Description:
In Feb/March 2027 Richard is leading three back-to-back Torres Strait trips. Our tours commence on Horn Island, from where we head North aboard Tropic Paradise, our comfortable twin-share live-a-board vessel or fly to the islands by charter flight. Tropic Paradise is airconditioned and we will have a professional chef on board preparing our meals each day. After the trip north, we spend the rest of the week on Boigu, Dauan and Saibai Islands, anchored off the protected Northern coast, visiting birding hotspots and exploring the otherwise inaccessible rivers and coastline. * Note, even though we are on a live-a-board vessel, this is not a pelagic trip. There is no swell in the area of the Torres Strait we visit, although we can occasionally experience some wind chop on passage.
